I have two pairs coming. One showed up today and the other should be here tomorrow.
(1) I finally broke down and bought some pants for my AK. No more "going commando" I guess.
This one is from Okuden. I plan on ordering a BB (taco style) and maybe some leather pants in the future.
Man this thing IS bullet-proof. And I love the slats on it for pack attachment. Brian does excellent work.
(2) After seeing a few threads with the Spec-Ops sheaths I decided to grab myself one for my BATAC SE. I order this from Tad Gear. It is a small, OD, Combat Master. This is a very well maid sheath. This is before the mods to the liner as Guyon showed us in another thread.
Then I used a circular file to make a notch for the guard.
Since the round file, which cut really fast, made the notch rounded I used a rectangular file to square it off for a better fit.
Now it is a perfect fit. And a snug one at that. No rattling around here.
(3) Here is an idea I am just playing with. BATAC-SE piggy-backing on the AK. It actually feels good carrying it this way.
