Day after fathers day my dad shot and kill himself. This was his 112 I bought him around 93-94 from the cutleryshoppe. Had his name Mike Mikas engraved on it. Has nickel silver fittings. My dad used this knife alot and gutted multi deer. I will miss him but will carry this knife and use it on and off. Just wanting to share this.

Well, that's a horrible thing, but I'm glad at least you have a beautiful and great classic knife that you can carry on in his place and feel a little closer for it.

That's one of the best looking stock and standard knives ever made, plus one of the toughest.

My condolences and best wishes.

My Condolences to you, and wishing you peace in your time of healing from this tragedy...
And may that beautiful 112 serve you well...

Sorry you lost your dad that way,but you do have a beauty of a knife to remember him by.I just lost another friend who hit a deer on his motorbike, lost a lot of good friends lately .

Sorry for your loss, friend. I hope carrying that sweet 112 will help you remember your dad fondly.

Your father's knife will serve you handsomely. Treasure it, care for it, warm your heart with it. May it bring you comfort and fond memories. My condolences.

Over the years I have cherished my 112. I also bought a few way back and gave them to friends, they made wonderful gifts to those that I wanted to bless. I lament your loss and hope you'll press on undaunted. With God's help, we can push on even though the road is chalked full of pot holes. RIP.
