Dad's back in hospital with another heart attack. I may be away a few days.

Just got a call from Sister Fran and she told me that Dad had to be taken back to hospital -- another heart attack with complications caused by flu (he had his shot). Doc says it does not look good and asked for instructions from family members.

I'm heading for Springfield either this afternoon or tomorrow AM and may be gone a few days so you'll know where I'm at if I'm not here.

Have emailed Yangdu and told her nasty news so probably no blems for a couple of days.

I think I better go get my crying done now so I won't cry in front of Dad. No matter how hard we try we are really never prepared for final separation.

I'll take all the prayers and well wishes I can get for Dad and my own sad lack of courage.
