This is a knife I am making for my Dad, its gonna be orange scales with blue liners he is a huge Gator fan so should go over well. The blade and scales have been drilled and tomorrow will be clean up, glue up and Ill keep the progress pics posted.

Nice geometry, though I'd want something bigger for gators :)

Looking forward to seeing it finished.

Really the whole univ of fla could be swallowed up by gators and I wouldn't cry.

Here it is almost finished, still needs some touch up work done. I meant this is my Dad's Florida Gators knife hence the orange scales with blue liners. Will post better pics tomorrow.

Is that your first attempt at a grind and are you using a jig of some sort? That looks great.

This is my second knife, I did the majority of the grind myself with a little guidance from Andy at the end. Thanks for the compliment I think Dad is gonna be happy.

He did all but the final passes on that grind. Coming along really well on the rest of the steps as well. The design of that knife is really neato IMO. Its got sweet curves at the butt of the handle.
