Thanks Ethan! I look forward to giving both knives a good work out. I'm going to try to work the BK11 into my EDC, hopefully replacing my folder.

I did the same thing but backwards. I ordered the BK11 and it took less than a week to convince myself and subsequently my wife that I desperately needed the BK2. I am now working on convincing her I desperately need a BK9, Lol.

I bought the BK 2 and now I really want a BK 14 or 11. I think that they are more practical for everyday use.

I think the BK2 is a must for any outdoor situation, camping, hiking, etc. And the BK11 or BK14 fills in the rest of the time.

Kinda funny how I ended up here (with Becker knives). Like most I was in search of a good all round "survival knife". I looked at Cold Steel, SOG, Ka-Bar, and that turned me towards Becker. One thing leads another. I've tried to stay with one brand over the years. I've gone from Spyderco to Benchmade to SOG and now onto Becker. They all have a spot in my knife drawer.

My first "combat knife" was a SOG Seal Pup, which I still use and love and before I deployed I got the hankerin for a large fixed blade... well I have a large collection after trying to find the right one, I got a Boker tanto (the mammoth one, I can't think of the name), a Gerber LMF, LHR, and a Ka-Bar USMC, and a Fallkniven S1, which I love! Fooling around on amazon I found the BK11 and figured, why not, after seeing the other beckers, I fell in love with the whole line and cant wait till next month when I get the BK9. I'm currently waiting on the BK2 and ESEE 5 in the mail! I have definitely become addicted!
