This sucker is finally finished. The dagger has a 12 1/2" blade of 300+ layer "lazy twist" nickle-damascus. The handle is Sambar stag with ebony and bronze/brass/nickle-silver spacers and pins. The ends are bronze and file worked nickle-silver discs and the pommel is bronze with an onyx cabochon. Tess did a real nice blade sheath with a Celtic carving pattern. I gotta thank Jim Cooper (sharpbycoop.com) for doing a really nice picture, too. This one was way too much for me to photograph.

Having had the pleasure of actually handling this beauty, I can let you all know that it was really hard to put down. Actually, it was hard not to try and make a run for the parking lot with it. ........The worksmanship is flawless. A wonderful piece both blade and sheath.
Way to go J&Tess!!

George, I have it finished. Just gotta take a decent pic. Maybe later tonight if I get this sheath done. I'll definately have it at the hammer in.

J. I get a little tired of saying the same word for your work but....It is just stunning. Every piece belongs on the knife and is done with your usual super workmanship.

If you ever start making knife/guns, B.B. will have to watch out for his crown! :D

Tess, what I said for the Dagger goes for the leather. Sometimes I think the Leather workers here get less credit than they have coming but IMHO and at least for me, the leather work is more demanding!

This is a fine combination. The work from both of you two is amazing! I love the guard and pommel! Out of the box at its best.

J and Tess, absolutely wonderful workmanship.I love the combination of materials used, just awesome work.Tess, your sheathwork has come a long way in a short time showing your true talent. This package "ROCKS".Dave :D

Wow J. ,

When I first looked at it I didn't quite know what I felt. The more I look at it the more it makes me invision that the king of a ban of woodsman thieves and bandits would own it. Kinda Rustic Royalty looking if you get my drift. Workmanship is fantastic.

How do you put beautiful work like that in simple terms? The knife and sheath grab your eyeballs and won't let go! I can honestly see why it would be hard to let go of those. Our J&T team have surpassed 5 star rating! The lazy twist is just perfect, too.
