I've really struggled trying to get a good picture of this one, the damascus really plays heck with my camera so I decided to give up, to many other things I need to be working on. Anyway, come by and check it out in person.
damascus blade is what I call my flame pattern, hardware is a slow twist and the handle is African Blackwood with 8 wires and flutes. Sheath is leather wrapped with sheep skin, N/S throat and tip. OAL- 15 1/4 10 1/4" blade

Thanks for looking,

Bill

that is a very fine dagger, Mr. Buxton.
I've had a life long love affair with daggers. I just love their swells and symmetry, and this one here is just really very nice.

Bill,

Somewhere, many posts ago, I stated that you were one of my heroes. (of course you would follow John Wayne, my dad, and my grand-dad:D).

I sure look forward to meeting you at Blade, and I can't wait to see all the goodies you bring with you.

Thanks for sharing this wonderful piece with us.

Hey Bigboy, I recall you telling me this same line. :D Hero.

Bill, Do you have any idea as to what table you'll be at? I do expect you to leave Atlanta a Master Smith. Fine looking dagger and scabbard!
