I have always liked Raymond Richard's knives.
Now I have one of my own.
To me, it looks like an old Pirate's Dagger.

Nice, Mark! I am a fan of Ray's knives also. A very cool dagger, for sure.

Ray makes good stuff. I just had to smile upon seeing that he forged the edges down to ready for the secondary bevel. Is that African blackwood?

Mark you're one LUCKY guy. I love ray's knives, although I've never met one in person. If I ever come up with the dough to buy a custom, it will be one of his!

You do like daggers! I still dream about that one you had built from a meteorite...

Love it. It was an article Wayne Goddard wrote about Ray that got me started down this slippery slope of knifemaking. I love Ray's knives . They truly were my inspiration to make knives.

Great score...Rays work is one of a kind...Very nice looking Dagger !

very cool... One day I hope to have one of his knives. And that is a beautiful piece.

Brian, don't blame me....... I appreciate what you had to say.

Mark, I hope to get out in the shop tomorrow and use some of that wood.

Here's a photo of the knife shortly after I finished it 2 years ago. I named it the "Skullian Harvester".
