Dagger -- is there even a single picture out there?

I can usually find a picture of a knife after I check all my book marked dealer's sites and photopoint collections of other members. But this Emerson dagger is impossible to find! The search function just showed a few older posts asking for pictures but getting no response. Does anyone have a picture or a description? I know it has double edge chisel ground blade and cord wrap, but other than that there is nothing else that I could find.

Generalobster,
There should be a picture of Dagger in Blk. T w/ serrations in Emerson gallery shortly after 10/13/2000.

The "Caracci" collaboration Dagger may not see production. I recall a thread that discussed this. The only pic I came across was from their last paper literature from 99. Perhaps a call to Emerson may bag you one.

Thanks John. The production catalog shows the Dagger with paracord wrap. Not sure which the General was referring to, custom or production.

1StopKnifeShop shows that they have Emerson Daggers for sale, I take it that they are the Caracci Collaberation ones ? Anyone shed any light on this ?

I remember this topic a few months ago. I posted a similar answer back then so here's what I know about this knife.

The Carracci Dagger was a custom piece. The knife was listed at the Emerson site back in 1998 and for a short time in 1999. 1stopknifeshop along with other sites has had it posted as an available production piece for months. A call to the companies listing the dagger revealed that the knife was not in stock yet but could be preordered. The anticipated release dates were blown.

I am not sure what EKI has planned with these vendors like 1stopknifeshop. I have heard that the Carracci dagger collaberation went the way of the Warrior. As a result there is no plan to continue any production be it custom or otherwise.

By the sounds of Tamishigiri's post this situation may be changing.

When I posed this question to Emerson some time ago, they said the Caracci Dagger was not going into production--ever. Why 1SKS has it listed on their site is beyond me. Wishful thinking perhaps?

Tamishigiri (and Nyeti I believe) has a custom Caracci Dagger that John will be photographing at the SOF show in October. That was the picture(s) he was referring to.

I'm eagerly anticipating the pics of Tamishigiri's and Nyeti's extensive custom Emerson collections!!

It's listed on 1SKS because it was included on the price list we got... if that's out of date I'll remove it when we get our next price list.
