Hello friends!
I want to show the last work I did at the request of a customer.
Asked me to make an art dagger, and gave me complete freedom to design and materials. This dagger is the one I made for him.
I forged a 1090 & 15n20 ladder damascus, I think one of the patterns is ideal for a dagger. Carved Pre-ban ivory, wrought iron, silver spacer & seppa, engraved & gold inlays, rubies set in gold. Ebony sheath amber set in silver.
The photographs were taken for my wife Valeria.
Hope you like, Cristian.

Stunning work. The whole package is astounding and the ebony sheath really sets the whole package off. The symmetry in that ladder damascus is also astounding.

A lot of very fine work there although I find the transition or possible the size of the carving to the blade a bit large

But that's just my eye .. Beautiful work

This dagger was one of the first I did in this style, I could say it was almost a study.
I'll tell Valeria, I am one of his fans!
