I'm experimenting with the dagger blade style as a folder. I just got the Boker Night Watch to start, but I'd like to move up.

My requirements:

--got to be a folder (vital; no fixed blades)

--can't be an automatic or assisted opening

--has to be one handed opening

--no flipper, if possible; I won't veto on this, but I really prefer thumb studs

--must have pocket clip

--4" handle/closed length

No customs; I'm not sure what I think and don't want to put big money i yet.

Any suggestions?
 
Check out the Gerber Applegate folder goes for about 90 bucks. My bro has one very mean looking only hit is the low end blade steel. And to me anyway a dagger blade shape has to be sharp on both sides not the best idea on a folder. Too bad autos are a no go for you otfs are perfect for the true dagger style.
 
I know you said you don't want to spend big money, but you might just go look at and drool over the DDR Madd Maxx. Sounds like that might be right up your alley.
 
Or CS TiLite, 4" of stabbiness and opens in a blink of an eye

Mine is CPM154 but I think its a 4.5 inch blade. I really like it the handle seems a bit cheap but has held up very well for about 5 years now.
 
The Ti Lite is exactly what I'm looking for, except for one crucial detail. If you take a look, the blade is 4" but the handle is closer to 5" I have small hands and need a 4" handle (as mentioned in op).

Can anyone think of something like the Ti Lite, but smaller.

I recommend handling a ti lite if you can the handle is really not that big I found it to be quite small.
