I currently carry a Spyderco Delica 4 and the Emerson Horseman (mini cqc 8) on a daily basis. I am looking into adding one more knife to my daily carry arsenal. What knife would you suggest to add for under $100?

Yeah, it does look like you need a multitool. Victorinox makes a one handed opener called the Trekker that I'm very fond of. Leatherman did well with the Sidekick and Wingman, they have a pocket clip. I carry one every day cliped inside my left pocket, with another folder in my right pocket.

I'd ditch one of those two knives and look into a Vic SAK. The OHT is a great knife (I've got a couple) but a little big. One of Vic's greatest pocket knives for outdoorsy types is the Farmer. Really, any of them are good and all you need to do is look at the features of each one to find the model that suits. Personally, I carry the hard to find Ambassador but for 30+ years I carried the little Classic (and still do on my keychain). If I didn't want the toothpick, tweezers, and scissors, I'd carry the Cadet but I don't need a can opener or bottle opener nearly as often as the other tools.

I carry a left and right handed Spyderco Military. My third EDC is a Leatherman Charge. I would not leave home without it. I suggest your third EDC be some type of multi tool, so you can avoid using your knives for purposes they were not designed for. Most multi tools these days have a clip. I carry the Charge clipped to my left rear pocket, the knives to each of their respective front pockets.

I have two of these Charges, one in natural titanium, the other all black titanium.

The weight of the Charge in my left rear pocket is usually countered by a Kimber CDP II, 1911, .45 ACP pistol holstered over my right rear pocket. ;-)

Victorinox makes a SAK for almost every and any need. For outdoors, I like that saw blade. In town, I have different needs. It's hard to own just one SAK (and those bastards know it too!).

Another vote for a SAK or multitool. You've got your cutting covered with the Delica and Horseman, so you might as well get some extra tools.

If you want another dedicated knife, then definitely a nice fixed blade. Perhaps a Fallkniven F1 or WM1.

I carry a leatherman sidekick in a leather sheath I made for it, I forget that it's on my belt; it just sits that nicely
If you want something smaller a LM juice or a SAK are both great options

cbxer55 suggested the charge, also a good choice

I don't quite understand the question.

Do you have an actual need for a third knife that you are trying to fill? Are there tasks that you aren't able to get done with the two knives you are currently carrying?

Without knowing what need, if any, that you are trying to fill, I don't see how anyone here can tell you what knife you should buy and carry.

I think a person would receive a more valuable answer to the question of "What knife should I buy?" if they state what they want to use the knife for or how their current knives aren't satisfying their needs.
