this is something i put up a while ago. thought i would see what you guys thought of it. the gun broke about a month after the video (it doesn't like being worked like water pump). it was fun though.

No comment on safety issues, but you might find the following pics interesting - 1892, 44-40 Carbine modified for the 6th season (never happened) of "The Rifleman." If the website is correct, it sold for $17,000 in 2011.

He used to pitch for the Cubs true story .

He played for the Celtics too. As I recall he was the first player to smash a glass backboard at the Garden.

One of only 13 people to play pro ball in the nba and mlb.

He served in the Army too.

My thoughts are that it's one of the dumbest things I've ever seen.
No hit against you, it's just stupid.
When you take into account actually hitting what you're aiming at, I can fire my lever action Daisy's much faster than this.Technically sure you can launch bb's more rapidly but if you discount every shot that missed If it does fire you probably get like 10 shots in a minute if that.
Now I can operate my slide action model 25 about as fast as you can this, but slowing it down just a bit and the hit percentage goes up to about 85-90% at 10 yds.
And we're talking standard 12oz soda cans here, if you wanted to " shoot someone with it " you'd need face / eye shots to matter and if you can't hit those cans it ain't happening.

It's also bad for the gun ( looks to be 70's vintage predecessor to what is now the daisy model 10 ) as you've learned.
I don't know what stopped working on this gun but I know you're bound to damage the hook on the lever which pulls the piston back.

Yes I'm a vintage / classic airgun guy so this is just something I was bound not to like even if it did actually work in a practical manner

it was one of these. customized. pyramid air sells them with an option of a metal lever (instead of the plastic). can't complain for $50. i think my friend screwed it up also when he tried to shoot table salt out of it...not sure why.

Yep I see it now, they use an older style of loading port plus you did call it a " Daisy BB rifle ". ( PS it's not a Daisy not technically a rifle with it's smooth bore barrel )

You know you can get a red Ryder for $24 from Wal-Mart and get a cast lever from daisy for $3 , or a large D loop aluminum lever from Cheiff AJ, you can also get a longer " adult length " stock too but personally I find the standard length just fine.

i wanted one of these. its like the regular Walther but different lever and slightly different barrel look. sold in the UK, i spent 2 weeks trying to find a place that could ship it here but there were too many restrictions, or out of stock.

What about the new Winchester replica from pyramidair ?

Personally co2 gets expensive so I'd rather have a Daisy 1894 but the only affordable ones are trashed or missing parts.

wanted a large loop i could work a little faster than the daisy. i thought about having my friend make a larger lever that would fit like the standard one (he works in a CNC shop)
