Dakota watches

I've got an old version of the Dakota Phase3. I punished this watch for 3 years straight, and never had a remote problem. The finish got all beat to crap, but the watch survived being scraped on rocks while climbing and hits from aluminum yo-yos. It was rained on a million times too. The Dakota was the only watch I carried for those 3 years, and the battery hasn't even needed to be replaced yet. It's been sitting in my drawer for a year now, and is still accurate to within a minute or so.

The prices are so reasonable, I was worried a bit about the quality. On the other hand, for $35, I don't mind taking the risk. I've been looking for a reasonably good watch that's attached to a 'biner, so I can hang it on my pack. Dakota might be just the ticket.

I can't tell you much about the Dakota watches, but I have been consistently impressed by the quality of their watch bands.

Very high quality for the price. If the same applies to their watches you probably got a good bargain.
