Dale Reif W2 tanto

Dale Reif makes some awesome Japanese style fixed blades. A lot of people think he only makes nice folders, but here is something he made for me. Steel is W2(look at that Hamon!) with black stingray skin under that wrap. The sterling silver menuki is probably 100 years old. Blade is 4.25" long and the knife is 8.5" overall.

A beautiful knife. I love the Hamon and the menuki and prefer the more traditional tip that this knife has.
