Iam a guy named Ed and a confessed knife nut. Had never been exposed to a Dale Rief knife. looking at a trade on one. Where can you find out about values on them ? It's pretty hard to trade a real nice knife for one you dont know about. The man wants to trade a custom sifu knife for my Bob Dozier, and i dont know anything about them. Can you tell me about them. Thanks Ed

Dale is an excellent maker out of Wichita Kansas. (DRKNIVES@aol.com) I have a few of his knives on my photopoint albums. I might mention that he took several awards at the PKA show in Denver this year.

Dale is A-1. I bought his folder, which won Best Custom Folder at Badger 2000, and he made a garter dagger for my wife.

As for valuing his knives, they're higher than yesterday, and not as high as they will be tomorrow. More than you can say for many!

My experience so far with Dale has been positive (Atrox here we come) and as far as my naiive eyes can tell he's what you might call hot/up and coming.

Hi Dale glad you could write. I think the knife I was Looking at was not made by you but customized by you. It was called a Sifu. Nice knife but I would rather have a handmade knife. Found you web page. They are some very fine looking knives on there. Lets talk sometime. Thanks Ed
