Let me show you Mauricio Daletzky`s work, with a small carving of his wife Celia

The blade has a length of 145 mm, 5 mm thickness and 31.5 mm wide, the steel used is 15n20 and 1095 W-pattern.
The wood used is ebony, inlay in carved ivory by Celia, the rim.
With a klts 22 gold inlay.

I hope you like it.

Beautiful work! The amazing Damascus gives the knife the look
of being fully embellished!

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

great looking knife on the whole. however, the embellishment of ivory on the handle seems a bit more than required while the carved ivory on the sheath is perfect.

I really like this knife. That choil treatment is especially elegant and refined.

Horacio, thanks for posting on his behalf. Have you worked with him on a handle or sheath?

Best,

Coop

I'm in love with the steel used all over this piece...reminds me of a "Wildfire" pattern of sorts. Very nice execution all the way around!

 +1 on that steel! Most awesome, as is the design and craftsmanship.

Jim, I have not participated in this work, however I've done the sheath in rawhide leather to the one on the next picture ( and some others).
