Well I the guy in the brown truck delivered my new spyderco yesterday and I been playing around with it all day.
I had the SE D'allara already and am going to give it to my daughter some day when she becomes a cop.
I got to compare the two. The PE feels slimmer, but it doesnt look slimmer.
I actually like the feel of the SE more than the PE.
The PE is sharp, I already cut myself on it. I been cutting paper, shaving hair, ( the little bit I got left) and cutting little bits of styrofoam peanuts.
And I been flicking it, boy do I love flicking it, it is so easy to snap to open. You dont even have to move your arm just a little flick of the wrist is all it takes. I ficked it so many times my wife told be to knock it off. it was getting anoying to her.
One thing I noticed and this is personal preference. I like a knife I can choke up on. Like the stretch or the native which has the finger choil. I do miss it on this knife.
So far I gotta tell ya this is one knife to buy. It really not that heavy, but its hefty. I'll give it a good work out this weekend and see how it holds up.
The blade tip is not real pointy. I'm thinking it might be a good knife for fishing. Too cold for that now, here in Colorado we been in the minus 3 degree freeze for a few days.
I am impressed. VG 10 steel opens silky smooth, fills my hand with a handle, this one is a worker. totally a worker.
oh, New Graham knives excellent nice people quick delivery. cant ask for more.
gotta go I'm at work.
Good knife hunting
Jack
