Here's a sweet Ram horn hunter Jerry Fisk made for live auction at the annual Dallas Safari Club meeting to be held in January, 2017. It's typically a big bucks affair and always interesting to see how the bidding shakes out. Someone will get lucky though, because this is as fine a knife as any hunter could want!

Hopefully Jerry will comment further, especially about the layered steels which are of historic origin.

I provided a second version of the image against a dark background so the Folks at DSC would have an option depending on promotional usage.

Great lines on that piece and your pics capture it beautifully Buddy!

A really nice looking Sendero, should be a huge hit considering all the Hunters in the organization.
Nice photo as well.

Thanks y'all. I used steel from the bombing of Pearl Harbor in the blade. I thought sheep horn might be good foe safari club. Thanks to Buddy for his always good work.

The design, the steel, the handle material, the engraving, the reputation, and the image presentation are all 100% top notch.

You done good. There will be a fight for this.

Sheath?

Still not sure what it is, but there are some subtle differences from the normal Senderos.
Slightly different blade and handle profile. And the proportions are not the same.
I really like it.

Good eye Karl. I don't know there is a "normal" Sendero. I'm owned dozens over the years and all have subtle differences, this one probably more than some. Jerry's Gamemaster design will also vary a bit from knife to knife.

Check out the blade shape!

Great lookin' hunter.....I like the slightly dropped point and
the enhanced palm swell...

And I always like Buddy's treatments...

Karl, the rear end is a tad shorter due to running into flaw in the sheep horn and it makes it different.

I have no pattern so if I get happy with the hammer on a particular piece it shows.

Jerry, I understand not having a pattern. That only makes sense.
I will say that I like this handle profile more than the traditional Sendero.
I'm glad it had a flaw.
