I’m not terribly familiar with SHOT but I know DSC was always around the first weekend in January. Now TTHA (owned by SCI) has that weekend. DSC jumped the gun by moving. TTHA is still using the convention center. It’s being renovated to some degree but there’s still usable space

That website really sucks. They treat the exhibitors' list like a national security document.

I would attend if I knew which exhibitors would be there. Marketing to me is a big failure for them.

I am not traveling that far, spending that much money, only to see which vendors I care about are in attendance. If you want me to spend ~$1K in travel and attendance expenses, make it easier for me to determine if it is worth attending. All I see is a "pay me page" to register as an attendee or exhibitor with obligatory hotel recommendations and similar stuff.

A big fail for someone like myself. Instead, I will take my ~$1K and apply it to a trip to Canada or Alaska in the next few months when I pick up my Arkto trailer.
 
As far as expeditions go...most of the outfitters offer a significant discount and added perks when customers book at the show.
 
Yep still kicking and grinding. Him and Alex were checking out some walnut gunstock material and inquiring about cutoffs (so was I 😀).
