I hadn't even heard of Dalton until recently when I ran across a Dalton LTC manual folder online. It looked like my kind of knife, so I did the deed. While I was waiting for it to arrive I spent some time doing searches about Dalton Combat Cutlery, and it seems that there isn't much hard info available. The website is very....interesting, but doesn't have an "about us" section or anything like that.

Can anyone tell me where I can find out some info such as company history, manufacturing processes, etc. etc? I don't anticipate buying a bunch of Daltons since I don't collect automatics, but I sure do like the LTC and I'd just like to know about where it came from. I'd appreciate it!-d

Thanks. I'd run across that site previously, and the Dalton site as well. Don't particularly care to register, etc. at the Dalton forum just for a little bit of info.

I know he's located in Lexington, KY. I used to see him occasionally when he would attend gun shows to deliver knives to dealers there.

The only automatics I own are Daltons. Since I'm in Kentucky too there's no transportation across state lines for me to buy them, so no Federal Switchblade Act issues.

Thanks. I wish he made more manual folders. Collecting autos is not something I need to get into. But If I ever do, I'll definitely be shopping for more Daltons. I'm very impressed with my LTC, especially for the price. IMO quality is as good as Microtech and Dalton knives are WAY more interesting than most I see.
