We might be wandering around too. It depends on the weather... if it's really nice we may stay home and putter around in the garden...

we never have anything cool like that in this area but we do have weekly gun shows it seems!

Is this a knife show? Looked it up. Yes, it's a knife show. May have to run down there and see what's shaking.

Attended the show today (Saturday), I didn't see Ethan B but I was told that I had just missed him when I took a break outside and coming back in by Bruce Voyles' wife and daughter. Ethan dropped off a couple BK's for door pizes.

The show was "slip joint" or traditional paradise. Lots of traditional knives. There were a few custom makers displaying their wares. No manufacturer tables at this show. If you like old slip joints or even new ones, you would have loved this show. Lots of Schrade USA knives.

Hey 22rimfire.......

Sorry we missed each other........ Yo, there were plenty folders for sure....... A couple of big Marbles dealers too......
had a fine time visiting with the Voyles....... A little after two the lure of almost perfect weather drove me out of the hall and back to my mountain lair....... Not in time to put in a little range time....... Good day though, damn good day.......

One dealer had a whole bunch of Russell barlows (probably 30). I was impressed. He wanted to sell me all of them at $40 each which would be a good chunk of change. (I wasn't real interested. :) )I was really interested in a damascus custom made by Steve Davis. I may even call him tomorrow and see if he still has it.

I bought my first Rough Rider today. Going to look it over really close, but I'm liking it in general.
