A customer sent this one back. He had put a little chip in the blade, maybe 1/32 or less. Don't know how he did it. Blade is in the 59 to 60 Rc range and well done. I put the blade on the bench grinder for 3 minutes and took the chip out. I did not polish the blade back to magic mirror. Still grind marks visible but now the knife is ready to do more serious work -- but will not chop rocks or railroad rails. You can touch up the edge to your liking.
