On closer examination of photos, the ax in this link is DYH textured native steel rather than damascus. My bad!!

In one of the old BCCI news letters Joe Houser put together a list from the old custom shop.The list shows the amounts made per model number. It show 12 106's were made, none were DM steel.

Thanks everyone! thought I would check to see if any one has heard of or seen one, but with JB's post I am pretty sure there isn't one out there, and even if there were only a few I doubt I'd have the chance to get one.
