Thats going to be a nice one Gordon. I too will be watching for the pics tonight.

Its as done as far as I'm going to do it and its in the sheath and on my belt. That damascus is way sharper than S30V.

Great work. Nicely fitted... Looks like the extra width and the shape would make it very comfortable

beautiful! I like how meaty stag is...nice texture and the slabs swell for a comfortable grip. That blade is very handsome as well. I am glad you are going to carry it. To many nice ones wind up in a drawer somewhere...

Thanks for the kind comments. It's a real pleasure to show off my hobby knives and get positive feedback.

This was my second effort with stag. Getting a good fit is more difficult as your taking material off the bottom and you can't see your grind line for the bolsters. They weren't quite as tight as I would like but good enough for me. That 1/64th or less really matters on a perfect fit.

I decided I wanted this one to have the palm swell for purposes of grip but that necessarily caused some lose of the texture that is so pretty to me. It turned out to be a nice enough compromise.

My little box with my EDC knives is about full up....gotta stop...gotta stop...don't think I can:eek::eek:
I guess these are my favorites on top. Today I have the TNT clipped in my back pocket and the DM Stag mod on the belt. Now that I think about it, the front pocket has been feeling light since I moved the TNT to the back pocket. Guess that CS112 mod goes back in right now.;)

That's a nice looking slippie, too.

Yea BBJ, I think the gunstock is a great design. That's the D2 Amber Bone series one.
I wish Buck would run some premium bladed slippies. I'd fall out for a 307 with 154cm and picked brown bone. I guess I just like the older styled knives...hey that's why I'm a 110 fan.

It's Devin Thomas' raindrop pattern. I had it in my mind that it was stainless but I'm not certain now. Thomas makes both SS and Carbon damascus in this pattern. I should ask Pete. It's good stuff and I'm glad Buck uses it but it is expensive.

The early 90's DM that you see a lot is not stainless. If you look at Buckman's 110's for sale over on the Buck/Sale thread you'll see both types.
