Hey Folks-

I've been working on the JoeP project 7 days a week, but I realized if I extended my shop day from 11pm to 2am, I could get another knife done. ;) :)

It has a very similar blade shape to the JoeP blades, but it's much different overall feel--- this one is for the "super light and fast" crowd. :)

The blade was forged from a 300-ish random pattern billet of 1084/15N20, the guard is 416 ss with mirror polished scallops and inside lugs, the handle is a stellar piece of stabilized Black Ash Burl with a domed/polished 416 ss pin.

OAL- 14-3/4"
Blade- 9-3/4" long X 1-3/4" wide X 0.205 thick

Thanks for checking it out folks! :)

That's a stunner Nick!!

Wicked nice piece Nick! Light and fast is where it's at if you ask me. I'll take speed and maneuverability over heft any day!

Wow, thank you for the kind words guys! :)

Mike
- (Ruth Jr :D) I'm a fan of both these days. Don't get me wrong... I hate boat anchors! LOL But Joey P has sure gotten me to appreciate a fighting bowie with mass. Not heavy, but enough beef to tweak that whole F=M(a) thing. ;) :D

This knife is a good example of why I like wood so much--- I can shape it exactly how I want to in order to achieve a certain feel and balance, yet still have a bit of wild and crazy thrown in from Mother Nature. :D Black Ash Burl is one of my favorite woods too, because there's something about the color and figure that has a warmth to it, IMHO.

secretsquirrel- Thank you! But I better not discuss sales in here. I'll look for your email. :)
