Here's one i finished a few days ago. It's 15n20 and 1080. The o.a. is 8 7/8'', with a blade that's 4''.(tip to plunge) It's about 1'' at the choil.

This knife has a great feel, and the combo of steels should make the flat ground blade a real super cutter. The handles are camel bone with nickle silver pins.

The sheath will have some simple tooled pattern, and will be dyed walnut brown with the home made dye i made from the hulls i saved so far this year. Real nice color, and it is an alcohol based dye.

Nice looking knife in my opinion. Perhaps your contour at the choil (fore finger grove) could be a little less drastic, but still looks good.
I also like the damascus pattern. Looks like it may be tapered tang constructed?

Can't help but imagine how good one with premium ironwood would look.

funny you say that, i actually have one with the less drastic choil sitting on top a set of iron wood scales at the shop now. i personally like drastic and over exhaderated characteristics, if that makes any sense, i just like different and unique, and that is a hard thing to be with so many top rate makers out there, but i try and do something a little different on every knife:)

i think the iron wood one i am working on has a much less attractive pattern, though im not quite sure as i havent given it a real good etch yet, so we'll see.

thanks for commenting.
