I've probably made well over 200 Sebenza handles over the last few years--guess I've lost count.

I logged a first last week--I made a c/f handle for a Damascus bladed large Sebenza. The edge was a little dull, so as a matter of usual conditioning, I always take the finished product to the Sharpmaker for a touch up. I don't think I've ever recall getting a Sebenza as sharp as on this steel. Holy Hannah!! I'm officially on the look-out for a damascus blade of my own.

Anyway, here are some photos of the knife, I think the materials are complimentary:)

Very nice. I cannot help but wonder how the other patterns would look dressed in that scale.

Awesome job on the scale :). That Raindrop Damascus is beautiful...I'm gonna have to score one soon.

I have seen a few Sebenzas in my life...never have I jumped out of my seat as when I saw this one! MORE PICTURES PLEASE!!!! Regular....awesome.....CF scale...awesome.....Damascus......awesome.

Mr. H you did a captain awesome job on it!

That damascus pattern and the cf pattern really do compliment each other well. Great work and thanks for sharing.

The way that that scale makes the damasscus just "pop" is stunning.

I love sharpening DT's damascus. It takes a finer edge & holds it almost is if it were made of M4.I'm not kidding, that's the closest comparison I could make with this steel. It's really that good.

As usual your scales are spot on Barry.I'd like to get some custom scales made by you in the near future. It'll be for a large 21/damascus.

Thanks

That scale looks great with the damascus blade, or is the blade that looks great with the scale ..... :p. Fine work indeed.

I'm guessing your business will really pick up now, replacing scales on all the new "Idaho Maidens"
