This is a hunter I just finished and would like to get your thoughts.
5" blade of 1095 and 15N20, it is a random patterm then a piece of twist welded on for the cutting edge. Damascus fittings and Fossil Ivory.
OAL is 10".

Mike That is a sweet little knife I would say the edge wrap is very well done the line is nice crisp and even

Great looking knife, Mike! I really like the twist on the edge - it gives it something extra.

It would be the same as any multi bar Damascus. That weld is as strong or stronger than any of the welds between the layers.

Mike
Thanks! I guess the question struck me because - just looking at the blade - it kind of looks like there is a natural cleavage line for the edge to separate from the rest of the blade when subjected to a strong enough force.

BTW, I think that you did a real nice twist. Don't know if you have ever made a blade entirely from that twist, but I think that would be outstanding.

That whole knife emanates 'Advanced Skills'.

Impressive.
