Hello

Fresh from the cursed forge emerges the next piece of versatile cutting equipment.
I have forged it from spring steel and L6.
Its total length is 26 cm, the blade is 15 cm long, 3 cm wide and 4 mm thick.
The handle is iron, bone and walnut.
The sheath is hand sewn from 3 mm veg. tanned cow hide.
Hope you like it. :)

I really like this one. very simple, and rugged, almost aged looking, but also somewhat elegant.
I'm not sure the sheath fits though. I would have gone with a darker color in the sheath. On that note mineral oil will darken the sheath naturally, making it look aged not dyed its my favorite look on my sheaths. just a suggestion. nice work though
edit. is that a makers mark on the ricasso there?

Thank you! :)
I will try that oil stuff you mentioned. You know the aged look is intentional so an aged sheath will surely fit the knife.
Yep. that's my makers mark. All my knives have it if they are big enough ;)
You should see a moose's footprint.

post pictures if you do, also this probably goes without saying, but you should try it on some scrap leather.

I think the sheath looks 100x better. Great job on the knife also
