i recently bought a Southern Grind Spider Monkey with a Damascus blade.

Can any of you recommend another good folder with Damascus? I found an interesting Reate Mini Horizon but I’m sure there are others worth looking at.

I’ve also looked online at some cool small Chris Reeve Damascus models but they are generally a bit out of my budget.

Criteria:
- folder (no friction folder or slip joint)
- under $550
- 3.7” or shorter blade
- available to buy now without long wait

Pre-thanks for the help!

Far less than your budget, but would an Mcusta Tactility interest you?

I think Kizer has put out a few Damascus models. Spyderco also has made Damascus Delicas and Enduras with various handle configurations.

Oh! Protech does some damascus knives as well, but I think they might be right on the edge of your price range if not well past it.

“Around $500” or “under $550"... If I was you, I’d look at how $575 would put me into a Chris Reeve (small) plain Sebenza 21 with a 2.94" damascus blade. That being said, I’m not you and so the decision is yours to make. As noted above--there are other less costly options available, but they aren’t CRK’s. Happy shopping and best wishes with whatever you end up deciding to do.

I bought a limited edition Buck 110 with raindrop damascus and white micarta scales for $200. It has a longer blade than what you are looking for but it is worth a look.

I'm a huge fan of Olamic Cutlery's Damascus. I would look for a Wayfarer in Damascus. That would be sick.
