Damascus as a EDC, Who knew?

I have wanted a Damascus Sebenza for a long time now and in Early Oct I found what I was looking for a Large Regular Raindrop. At first I thought that it would be limited in terms of the use and I have to say I was wrong. The steel keeps a edge just like the S30 or S35 does and it also hides wear well. So, here is one more testament to knocking down the myth that Damascus is just window dressing

Looks like a great EDC combo there, great looking knife!

Thanks for sharing the pictures, very nice

Good decision to use as I wouldn't do it any other way, enjoy it in the best.

Looks like it's the HC variety, is it High Carbon or Stainless? I've always felt that Damascus when done right is a superior blade steel but that's just my opinion. Good looking blade you have there and the fact that you use it makes it even better.

Im really confused on the Damascus. I do know this is SS per the birth card however, I think it's coated because it's darker than some of the other blades I've seen pictured.

That's a nice knife.

I have been using damascus knives for a long time and find them to be just great. While not a CRK, my EDC fixed blade is a carbon damascus custom and I can only sing its praises, I have not a bad word to say about its performance in any way. :)

Im glad you are using it the way it was intended to be used!

I am fully impressed with that stainless damascus. With my short use of it I found it to hold an edge better than s30v!

I just got a damascus Sebbie yesterday and it's already being carried and been used.
