Damascus Blade Care and Enhancement

Hello,
Is there a safe way to bring out the beauty of a raindrop Damascus blade, such as polishing or other techniques? I am reluctant to mess with the blade in fear of damaging the appearance, but it seems dull and hard to see.

Well, there are two ways. Either acid etch it, or polish it a ton. If you go the acid route, put nail polish on the pivot and lock face so you don't ruin the knife.
 
put a light coat of renn wax on it and lightly polish. Don't over polish or you can remove the contrast.
