Damascus Blades and PLAIN Handles

Does anyone know the frequency that CRK makes plain handle knives with Damasteel blades?

I've been looking for a full-size plain 31 with a damasteel blade for what feels like forever, but it seems like hardly any exist.

Inlay models are all over the place, but i just love the simplicty/elegance of their plain handled knives.

I don't think I've ever seen more than one or two in Damasteel in any handle configuration.

It sounds like you’re asking about DAMASCUS blades, different from Damasteel.

PJ/damascus are out there. I don’t have any specific numbers to give. It’s the normal CRK game — canvas retailers* and go hunting on secondary.

* I don’t know how legit the claims that they’re not doing Damascus right now are. If legit, you might not have much luck with retailers

Assuming he's asking about damascus, the only damascus new production I've seen in years from CRK is the GPK exclusive Annual Sebenzas. Can anyone remember a run in damascus with plain ti handles?

Yes indeed meant Damascus. It's interesting that I feel like I can generall find damascus blades at will - my choice of raindrop, ladder, boomerang -- but ONLY models with handle inlays

I'd be curious about Full size PJ production numbers if anyone really knows.

It seems to me that up until the current crunch in production, I see about an equal # of Damascus PJ's and Decorated/Inlaid..That's about what my current inventory shows as well. Bart

They don't do damasteel and they've halted their damascus knife production with the exception of exclusive runs.

Part of CRK history now, as will be UG’s soon enough. Anyone else getting bored with micarta, maccassar, BE and BO inlays yet? Everyone have a Forever Flag that wants one?

I hate to be sour, but with not a lot of variety right now, the loss of Damascus as an option takes a lot more of excitement out of it for me.

I actually bought a few Cerakote models, just for the novelty, so there’s that I guess. They ain’t exactly the reason I dig CRK though.

I also always find it weird to have box, cloth, lube, and tools with no birth card. Not questioning legitimacy just wondering what kind of heathen keeps the whole kit besides the most important part. I know it is AZCK but I don't see almost $1300 for that knife.

I have purchased two Sebenzas from the secondary market that were sold as ‘no card’. Both came in the square, white box with foam insert. I pulled the insert out and the card was there.
