Damascus Blades on Ebay??

Does anyone have any experience with these blades?

This seller has tons of demascus blades for sale. I was thinking it would be fun to buy a blade and make some custom scales for one. but being a noob when it comes to demascus blades and steel in general, im a bit sceptical about handing over my cash. Any info would be great.

no experience, but:
100% feedback of 450, so i would go ahead if it was me.

besides "noob", are you going to actually use this damascus fixed blade?
if its just going into a display vitrine or packed away, then...

Actually he has 1657 possitive feedback. He has 450 from different bidders. That means a lot bid on and won more than just one blade.

I have built about 20 knives using his blades. They are well made and nicely finished. It is easy to tweek them with the finishing touches and then assemble a good working knife. Given some to friends and family and sold a few...no problems yet. I will continue to use these blades.
