OK I am hoping somebody can school me on damascus blades. I recently came across a paradigm damascus with black micarta. Really sweet knife. But can't for the life of me see why these are so expensive.
Can someone explain to me what the process used to make these blades is.
I truly would like to know.
I get the aesthetics, but are these a better grade steel? I also under stand that there are limited quantity which drives the price. Just wanna know if there is something about the blade I am missing.
