I'm glad you asked! I've been busy working and haven't had time to get on here and check things out. I was informed by a Buck employee back in November 2005 that this sould be available in February 2006, then March, then April, then May, on and on, and still not available
. Disappointing

it is my understanding that the issue
is finding the quanites that buck needs
of the high quality buck is known for
in the damascus...
after all it is known that it is not jest a case of
joe and chuck being picky
or is it?
Any way - its like i have said to others about my choice in a knife-
if you don't not want the best, then don't buy a Buck...

I just hope their supplier can keep up when they do start to produce the Damascus! I have two that I will order when available, maybe three if they could ever do pearl in a fingergroove...just another closet queen! Something to pass down to my son.....some day.
