this is just loosly fit up, so it's not all lined up perfect, but i will be gluing up this evening. The blade guard and spacer are all 316 lawers of twisted 1080 and 15n20. The handle is african black wood and the pin is nickle silver.
Im wondering if it's me or does the guard seem to large? the overall length is about 11'', and the blade is about 6 1/8'' tip to guard.
the twist dosent look like a normal twist, due to when i welded it up, i t6urned it 90 degrees, and forged out against the welds, and continued to do that through the rest of the layering process, and i think it came out a bit different than a regular twist, and im pretty satisfied with the results.
i still have to buff the handle , and then ill set the tang in epoxy and pin together.
