Hello Everyone..
Just thought I would share some of the new work. It took a little while to get all tooled up after the move but we are now back in full swing :-)thanks for looking


Here's a small hunter and bowie/camp knife set.

Bowie/Camp knife
ZC Exclusive River Current Damascus forged from 1095 and 15n20
nickle/1084 bolsters
Handle is stabilized California Buckeye Burl scales with nickle silver pins
Full Tang with distal taper
Overall length 14 1/4"
Blade length 9"
Handle length 5 1/4"
Blade thickness .177 (almost 3/16")

Small Hunter

Great looking pair of knives. I really like the way the dark steel and buckeye go with each other. The bolsters look a lot like a type of meteorite I have seen. Definitely not your traditional looking bowie with your choice of handle and bolster materials. In this case I think it looks great. I enjoy seeing a maker get creative like this.

Thanks everyone.. i appreciate the comments. the bolster are nickel welding rods in 1084 powder can weld. i will post up a close up of the blade tomorrow. Again thanks a Ton
