Damascus Buckmaster

That knife is not my style to say the least. It would look good in the hands of Darth Vader, perhaps. I'm not into the Goth look.
No I didn't bid. If I was given that knife, I'd consider giving it to a custom knife maker to remake into something more to my taste. or...I'd try to sell it for $2,227.22 and then order some nice Buck knives. (Am I too opinionated?)
 
WOW....some people out there are willing to spend some SERIOUS money for those!

The 184 IS a cool knife....but for $2 -3K there are MANY choices i'd make first.

My 2cents is I believe that those prices were fair if you consider only 28 Damascus 184 were made and only 6 SEAL BuckMaster prototypes.Happy I have both of those styles in my collection...I sold the SEAL Prototype #2 and kept SEAL proto #1. I am writing a book on the BuckMaster 184 and BuckMaster LT 185.. I will let everyone know when we publish it.
