Here's a new folder I finished last week. I wanted to make a folding version of my guardless hunters. I deliberately kept this clean and streamlined, with no thumbstud, opening hole/slot, pocket clip, lock release cutout etc.

Its a front opener/flipper utilizing the fileworked tab in front of the bolsters.

Blade is 3 1/2" long of my own 1084/15n20 Damascus, carbon fiber bolsters, g-10 scales with carbon fiber window inlays, black g-10 backspacer, jeweled titanium lock and liners.

Beautifully clean design and great workmanship! The window/inlay ruins it for me makes it too busy along with the dimpled pivot.

Thanks for your comments. I appreciate it. I certainly can understand your preference for not having the inlays.

I feel they tie the whole knife together nicely. Black g-10 looks pretty good to me normally but some might have found it too plain without inlay.

I debated several choices for the inlay but settled on the same material as the bolsters to keep the theme going. Otherwise, I feel any other material would have looked too busy.
