Damascus / Carved Walnut hunter

Here's one I'm trying to get finished up. 4 1/4" Damascus blade 1080/15N20. Nickel silver guard and pin. Carved /textured Walnut handle. Just put on the second coat of wipe on poly. I'm going for 10 coats. Will see if that turns out the way I'm wanting.

Sorry for the crappy pics, The damascus really looks a lot better than I'm able to show.

Very nice. The carving / stippling on the handle really elevates this piece. The Caffrey influence is evident - and I mean that in a good way.

That's a nice looking little hunter. The carved walnut handle really sets it off.
 
That is a sweet little knife I love the way the damascus looks like smoke or clouds very nice
 
Beautiful knife. The carving gives it something "extra".

I like it the way it is, the matt handle and the smoky blade look great framing the silver of the guard.

Thanks Roger and Jonathan, Ed was my teacher, his teaching has been laying dormit for a couple of years. Out of respect to Ed I thought it needed to wake and put to good use.:D
