Hi to all my friends on BladeForums. Looking for feedback on this damascus dagger. Have any of you seen a pattern like this? Thanks
Blade length 10 3/4",Overall 15 7/8" mild steel guard and fittings ,handle is elephant ivory with twisted steel and nickel silver liners.

Hi Dennis,

I can't say that I've seen that exact pattern but I can say that it looks great! Kind of a flame edge look. Very cool. How about some specs on the dagger (dimensions, handle material etc.)?

cool! Very cool. Would have looked great in Aragorn's hand in Lord of the Rings, with the flaming edge and all. VERY cool!
 
Wow - 10 3/4" blade? I wouldn't have guessed it was that big. That must be one impressive piece of cutlery in hand. Gotta love the big blades. :cool:

Really an overall beauty. I especially like the coffin shaped handle. Haven't seen it on a dagger before. And the blade.....wooow!

OT: I still LOVE this damascus bowie by you! It has a good home here in Switzerland...
 
Hi, fishface5, Roger P, Paul and swissdagger, thanks for your comments, this knife is larger than what it looks like in the picture.
swissdagger glad to hear the bowie has a good home hope you enjoy for years to come.
Have been trying too come up with a design that is different,have the blade design and the handle I want but not sure of the guard, working on a different guard design for the next one we will see how it turns out.

Wow, what a beauty. Since this is a family forum I can't use the words that I thought when I first saw this knife. I've got a couple of your knives in my favorites photo album and I just added one more. One day I will own one of your creations, Dave
