Damascus EDC

I just picked up a Damascus EDC in a trade. I have been trying to figure out what the steel is and also any history on when the damascus version was first released, for how much, and for how long. I would appreciate any help...Thanks...........wolf

I hate to tell ya buddy, but we have never produced a damascus EDC. I know Darrel has done some CUSTOM EDC's with damascus blades, but the factory has never done any. If you have a pic or a scan, I'll be more than glad to help identify your knife.

Sorry Will, I meant the CUDA!!! Let me try this again: What year did the damascus CUDA arrive, and how many were manufactured?

I don't know Not many were made...something less than 1000. It was a couple of years ago...maybe 3. I'll get more specifics tomorrow I can check with the computer @ work. Kewl knife.....

I have a 1999 NIB version for trade. I have no clue what it's Fair value is. Before I enter into another deal, I would sure like to get an idea of how much one is worth...Ball park anyway.

Wolf - at a gun show I went to long time ago, I saw the drop point damascus CUDA selling in the $150 - $160 range. I think it was $154.95.

You're welcome Wolf. Keep in mind that maybe a heavily discounted price, I have no idea. At the time I saw that one, the damascus ones were already discontinued. Will would be the only source to go to on the SRP of your knife.
