Just got this pic in from Chuck Ward of a bowie I just finished for a client. The blade is random damascus and is a cutlass style blade with a bit of a recurve to it and is 10 1/2" long. The handle is elk stag and the fittings are heat colored wrought iron. The copper work on this piece is a first, it is actually a fold formed ferrule made from copper sheet and the seam is hard soldered together. There is also a copper underlay under the buttcap made from salvaged copper pipe and the OAL is 13 1/2" long. The sheath is a center seam Mexican loop style with an ostrich leg inlay on the belt loop.As always, thanks for looking!

John, great package!
The knife has all the details I like, and that sheath is very interesting too. The Ostrich detail is nice.

Beautiful primitive Knife/Sheath package John. One of your best yet in my opinion.:thumbup::thumbup:
