Jim,
Over all you knife looks good. The only problem you may have with it is when you are cutting something. If you would grind the blade higher up so that the edge wouldn't be quite as blunt, I think it will cut a lot better.
Alabama damascus does put out some good steel. Brad is also a good guy to do business with.
