Here is a Damascus Bowie/Fighter, I just finished up..

This knife has an OAL of 13 3/4". The blade is 7 1/4" of my own 405 layer Random pattern Damascus, made from 1084 and 15n20 tool steels. The Guard is 416 stainless with a bronze spacer. The handle is Bastogne fiddleback walnut with a 10 coat tru-oil finish. As always, it comes with one of my handmade leather sheaths..

Let me know what you think!!!

Steve

sh!t man. All these awesome knives we've been seeing recently have got me reeling. I don't think I could handle The Show. I think my head would explode:).

Bastogne is a town in Belgium not so far from Luxembourg.

During the Battle of the Bulge the 101 Abn and McAuliffe (" nuts " ) kept the german army out.

« Populus belgicus memor liberatoribus americanis » is written in Bastogne on the Mardasson memorial.

Elde,

Thank you for correcting me. You should think I would know more about my own history...
What part of France are you from??
