Damascus fighting bowie

Here is a recently completed knife. The damascus is 1084 & 15N20 that has been differentially hardened. The blade is flat ground and has a copper 'S' guard. The handle is Oosic and has Amboyna burl, black, and SS spacers. The overall lenght is 11 3/16" and the blade length is 6 1/4".

Pretty sweet. Love the blade shape, with just a hint of recurve.

Excellent knife on a great background. Terril did a fantastic job on that picture. Very nice pattern on that steel and I really like the amboyna burl.

The blade shape is quite different for a bowie and I think that it makes this a pretty darn original design. Very, very nice.
