Just finished this one up. Explosion Damascus blade. Dove-tailed bolsters were made from some of my accordian cuts. Fossil ivory that I picked up last January in San Antonio. Ti liners and back spacer & thumb.

Lovely knife, that damascus is gorgeous.

I'm usually indifferent to dovetailed bolsters, but the contrast in all that dark with the creamy white ivory really stands out.

Bruce I love it what a good looking little folder I scored some ivory from that same table still looking for the right knife for it.

Thats a beauty Bruce, really nice. Congrats on the write up in this issue (march 2013) of Blade also.

what a great looking blade. that damascus looks alot like iron filings in a magnetic field, really unique and very good lookin.

Very cool sir!!!! The blade is not what I would normally call an explosion pattern, which from what i have seen is a pattern made from twisted crushed W's that are doubled up and then ground into to expose the pattern.. This one is different and looks like you 4 wayed something that had been crushed on the bias and then accordion sliced it and forged it out.
