The Blade steel is forged by Randy Jr. A pattern we call "Reverb"
Full blended grinds, and walnut burl handles..

Specs.

OAL: 362mm or 14 1/4"
Blade: 230mm or 9"
heignt 57mm
thickness at spine above heel 2.70mm
Handle 5 1/8" Walnut burl.
Black vulconized fiber spacers.
single mosaic pin set between to stainless fasteners.

Both my main knives are 10" Gyutos love the shape. That one is too sexeh for work in my kitchen at work though.

Nice. I like that you went with a yo handle, wa on these often doesn't look right to me. The dammy pattern of course is sick. I often put one mosaic pin between two corbys myself, it adds a little flair but is less ostentatious than three would be.

What's the thickness at the edge? And by full blended grinds, I'm assuming you mean a slightly convexed flat?

Salem, The grinds are full height, from the cutting edge to the spine. The blade tapers very nicely to a fine, very fine tip. The faces are convexed.. Food will not stick as much to a convexed face as it will to a flat face. Edge thickness is as follows, Measuring above the cutting edge on the face of the grinds. Its a average of .43mm
